Strategic Partnerships Empower Over 7,000 Businesses and Enhance Operational Efficiency Through Innovative Solutions
Zoho Corp., a leading global technology company, has announced a significant investment of Dh46 million in strategic partnerships with both public and private entities in the UAE. This initiative has catalyzed the digital transformation of over 7,000 businesses in the region, marking a two-fold increase since 2022. The announcement was made during a press conference at GITEX, where the company also unveiled Zoho IoT, a user-friendly, scalable low-code platform that enables businesses to build and deploy custom Internet of Things (IoT) solutions.
Zoho’s collaborative efforts with local governments have been pivotal in helping UAE businesses optimize their digital transformation journeys and gain a competitive advantage. By providing access to wallet credits and comprehensive upskilling programs, Zoho has equipped organizations across key sectors—including IT hardware and services, real estate, construction, retail, transportation, and logistics—with the necessary tools and resources to leverage innovative solutions. Notably, Zoho’s flagship products, such as Zoho One, Zoho Books, Zoho Workplace, Zoho CRM Plus, and Zoho People, have enjoyed remarkable popularity, boasting a 57% conversion rate among new customers.
Hyther Nizam, President of Middle East and Africa at Zoho Corp., emphasized the importance of strategic partnerships in driving digital transformation within the UAE. “By investing in partnerships with local organizations, we provide comprehensive solutions to businesses of all sizes, helping them migrate to the cloud and realize the benefits of digital technologies. Our goal is to empower UAE businesses to achieve their full potential and contribute to the nation’s economic growth and development,” he stated.
The demand for Zoho’s solutions has surged, particularly among large-scale organizations in both the public and private sectors, as they strive to mitigate rising operational costs and enhance their competitive edge. Since 2020, Zoho has collaborated with various entities, including the Dubai Economy and Tourism Department, Flat6Labs, and Dubai Culture, to provide businesses access to digital tools, training, and essential resources. Additionally, the company has invested in upskilling initiatives through partnerships with educational institutions such as Middlesex University Dubai and the Emirates Academy of Hospitality Management, empowering young professionals with critical digital skills.
The newly launched Zoho IoT platform provides industry-specific solutions that can function as either pre-built solutions or be customized to integrate seamlessly with existing infrastructure. Its compatibility with third-party hardware ensures smooth integration into current systems, allowing businesses to scale rapidly. Nizam highlighted the platform’s flexibility: “Zoho IoT is a platform-first solution, designed to offer customizable and flexible features for a range of industries. With its low-code, interoperable, and secure framework, Zoho IoT simplifies adoption while delivering powerful functionality that elevates operational efficiency and customer experience beyond standard offerings.”
With this strategic investment and innovative product launch, Zoho continues to play a vital role in the UAE’s digital landscape, empowering businesses to thrive in an increasingly competitive market.
